Synopsis :
Inborn Error of Metabolism (IEM) is group of rare diseases. In Malaysia IMR is the only centre doing most research and development of methods for this disease. This seminar aims to bring together physicians, pathologists and scientists from other institutes in NIH, hospitals, university hospitals and private hospitals to provide the latest information on IMR research in the area of IEM. With such seminar, more collaboration can be made between IMR and institutions within the Ministry of Health Malaysia,University Hospitals as well as hospitals or private laboratories. This seminar will also provide exposure to university and private hospitals on laboratory facilities available in the IMR which will also open the opportunities to revenue generation for IMR.
