Synopsis :
Lean concepts can be applied across the entire healthcare spectrum including hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare administrative services. For these two days clinic, participants will be provided with a consultation on lean healthcare concepts and philosophies and its application in healthcare. The consultations will be provided according to the topics requested by the participants. Research highlights and modules will be used to guide the participants on topics selected. 

Learning outcomes:

1. Participants will be able to gain/improve their knowledge in lean philosophies and its application in healthcare delivery 
2. Participants will be given consultation on topics of their interest which will help them in problem solving at their workplace.
3. Participants will be able to implement and practice lean concepts at their workplace.

Teaching and Learning Strategy:

1. Participants will be given consultation on a one to one or group basis on topics of their interest to help them with problem solving at their workplace.
2. Case studies using video demonstrations (i.e. success stories of Lean Healthcare at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang & Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor Bharu).
3. Hands-on activities i.e. Value Stream Mapping (VSM), data collection and analysis
