Synopsis :
Analysis of secondary data plays an increasingly important role in research. In this workshop, we will be introducing the concept of using secondary data, its advantages as well as disadvantages. Use of data linkage methods in bringing different secondary data sources together to create a new, enriched dataset will also be discussed with some examples and lessons from the work that we have been doing and also that of other countries.
The main aim of this workshop is to expose researchers to the use of secondary data with a focus on data linkage methods and potential evidences that can be generated using this approach.
